F1 enthusiasts, it’s the weekend of race 9 of the 2025 racing calendar and the 10 teams are already in practice sessions at the Circuit de Monaco. McLaren’s Lando Norris was fastest in the opening practice, but can he hold on in qualifying too and start from pole to pull off yet another victory? Well, that’s up to Oscar Piastri, defending champion Max Verstappen, what with the former sitting tight at the top of the points table with four victories and 161 points.

Last year, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc had won in Monaco; the first of only two in the season that was dominated by Max Verstappen, despite tight competition from Lando Norris. Oscar Piastri had ended 2024 in fourth position, and he seems to be a man on a mission this year.
