India's win against England in the 5th Test match was nothing short of magical. From getting out on just 224 runs in the first innings to giving a mammoth target of 374 in the second innings, Shubman Gill and Co. played magnificent cricket throughout the five days. With this win, they also leveled the series, 2-2.

On day four, the match ended quite abruptly due to rain when England needed just 35 runs to win with four wickets in hand. Amidst all the standout knocks from the players, Indian bowler Mohammed Siraj won the hearts of every fan for taking the last wicket of the series with an amazing delivery.

The Men in Blue won the 5th Test by just six runs, their narrowest victory margin in Test cricket. For an incredible performance, Siraj won the Player of the Match award. He claimed nine wickets in the Test, giving his best throughout the five days. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, the bowlers stood up for the team, which is a huge positive point for Shubman Gill.

As a captain, he couldn't have asked for a better team in this series. With an inexperienced squad, Gill went on to showcase a powerful performance, which will be remembered for ages to come. After India's win, many former cricketers took to their social media accounts to congratulate the Indian team for their wonderful performance in the series.

Players like Wasim Jaffer, Aakash Chopra, Irfan Pathan, and Sachin Tendulkar have expressed their emotions on social media, appreciating the way Gill and Co. fought throughout the series.
