Team India is currently taking a small break before they face England in the fifth and final Test at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. While the Men in Blue have already secured the series with a 3-1 lead in the five-match series, the Indian team will be aiming to end on a winning note.

However, before the start of the fifth Test on March 7, Indian captain Rohit Sharma has donned a new look. Posting two photos on his Instagram, the skipper captioned the images, "Leap, sleep, play (repeat emoji)."

Soon enough, the photos have gone viral on social media, particularly on X (formerly known as Twitter), where fans are praising the opening batter's new appearance.

IND vs ENG Test:

On February 29, the BCCI announced the squad for the final game. Jasprit Bumrah will rejoin the squad after being rested for the fourth Test in Ranchi. Additionally, Washington Sundar has been released from the squad to participate in the Ranji Trophy semi-final fixture for Tamil Nadu against Mumbai, beginning on March 2. If necessary, Sundar will rejoin the Test squad in Dharamsala after the completion of the domestic fixture.

Meanwhile, senior batter KL Rahul has officially been ruled out of the Test series after failing to fully recover from a quadriceps injury after the 1st game.

The cricket board also announced that fast bowler Mohammed Shami, who recently underwent surgery, will be relocating to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru to commence his rehabilitation.

As for the fourth game, the Ranchi Test proved to be one of the most interesting matches so far, as both teams played on an unpredictable pitch. England's Shoaib Bashir and India's Ravichandran Ashwin both secured fifers to keep their respective teams in the game.

India’s squad for the 5th Test:

Rohit Sharma (C), Jasprit Bumrah (VC), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (WK), KS Bharat (WK), Devdutt Padikkal, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep.
