Pratika Rawal, Kashvee Gautam, Sayali Satghare, and Kranti Gaud debuted for India women's ahead of the pink-ball test against Australia women's on Thursday.

India played their first Women's Test match in 1976 against the West Indies in Bangalore.
Shantha Rangaswamy, who was the first-ever captain of the Indian Women's Test team, scored a beautiful 74 as India drew the Test match. India went on to draw the 6-Test match series by 1-1.
