India's star all-rounder, Hardk Panyda, has been an impact player throughout the tournament, contributing with the bat and the ball. While talking after the match, Pandya opened up about how he wants to play cricket for ten more years and win ten more ICC trophies. He stated that it was an emotional moment since they won the trophy at his home ground.

Pandya mentioned that the entire team has put in a lot of effort and played incredibly well throughout the tournament. This victory was the result of hard work that the players did in the tournament and are looking forward to winning more.

"I have 10 more years left in me and I want to win 10 more ICC titles. That's my goal. [on winning at home and defending the title] It's quite emotional. Because winning the WC in India, the excitement of the people, it's amazing. The effort we have put in... From yesterday I knew we are champions," said Hardik Pandya after the match.

"The only self belief I had was there was no other result. Losing wasn't a thought. I am thankful for God. When I was bowling the 19th over against England, I was thinking about the 2024 World Cup final. I told Kishan and Abhishek also that when you go out to bat, think of good memories," he added.

Sanju Samson powered India to highest T20 World Cup total in final

Sanju Samson entered the tournament late but proved to be a game changer for the team. He slammed his third half-century in today's game, scoring 89 in 46 balls. He also hit five boundaries and eight sixes in the first innings. Thanks to his performance, India put up 255 runs on the board. Pandya opened up about Samson and Ishan Kishan during the conversation.

"This is what life teaches you. When you work hard, try to be happy in others' happiness, God gives you opportunities. It's a learning for the whole nation. That when you stay quiet and work hard, God gives you opportunities. Really proud of them," he added.
