Gill was batting at 31 off 49 balls when he tried to play an uppish cover drive on Santner; despite getting enough bat on the ball, Glenn Phillips jumped high at the short cover to grab a stunning catch.

However, post Gill's wicket, New Zealand have picked two more in the form of Virat Kohli (1) and Rohit Sharma (76) and marked their comeback in the game.
