Current scenarios of the England vs Nepal

England will start the tournament as one of the favourites to lift the trophy, led by Harry Brook. They have one of the most lethal batting line-ups in T20I cricket at the moment.

They are coming into the tournament after beating Sri Lanka 3-0 in their recently concluded series, and that experience on the sub-continent pitches will certainly help them get going in the tournament as quickly as possible.

Nepal also had a good outing in their warm-up games as they won both of their preparatory games against Canada and the UAE ahead of the 2020 World Cup. So they will also be confident to give a spirited fight to England.

As I've already mentioned, there is not much to say about England as they will start as one of the favourites of the tournament. When you have someone like Harry Brook in the team and batting at the top of the order alongside a legendary player like Jos Buttler, he will also be more relaxed as he will be playing only as a batter in the tournament.

Ben Duckett, Will Jacks and Phil Salt will make them one of the most feared batting lineups of the mega event. In the meantime, bowlers like Jofra Archer, Jamie Overton, and Josh Tongue will be key to their success as well.

However, it is Adil Rashid who will be the ‘X-factor’ for England with his tight leg spin.

Sub-continent conditions in India and Nepal will also be one of the nations to watch out for. Captain Rohit Paudel and vice captain Dipendra Singh Airee, who has a T20I century to his name, will be key for Nepal.

Sandeep Lamichhane, who had taken 21 T20I wickets last year, will be their hope in the bowling lineup.
