As India has reached a score of 300, establishing a lead of over 50 runs in the 1st Test against England at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, a notable challenge for the visiting side is that they have no reviews available. The English team utilized all their reviews on Day 1 itself, focusing on dismissals involving skipper Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

While Sharma was dismissed for 24, Jaiswal showcased an impressive display of Bazball, aggressively hitting the bowlers around the field. However, on Day 2, Jaiswal lost his wicket to Joe Root after scoring 80, and Shubman Gill followed suit, departing for 23, putting the pressure on KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer.

Rahul and Iyer formed a robust partnership, with Iyer scoring 35 before his departure and Rahul reaching 86 before being dismissed like the former.

With Ravindra Jadeja and Srikar Bharat now at the crease, the Three Lions find themselves in need of wickets as the scoreboard keeps ticking. However, their challenge is intensified by the absence of any available reviews to contest potential dismissals that may go unnoticed by the on-field umpires.

Reflecting on Day 1, Jaiswal had reached his half-century, scoring 50 runs in 47 balls, while captain Rohit Sharma contributed 24 runs off 27 balls. Before that, England, who had won the toss, chose to bat and posted 246 runs before being all out.

England skipper Ben Stokes, who reached his half-century, posed a challenge to the Men in Blue, but his innings was halted at 70 by Jasprit Bumrah. R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each, while Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah had two, disrupting the visitors' batting lineup.
