The Indian Cricket Team surely had a jam-packed season despite being part of the Asia Cup 2023 and preparing for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. In the second half of 2023, their schedule is packed with numerous matches and tours.
Currently, the Men in Blue are actively participating in the Asia Cup 2023. They progressed to the Super 4 stage and due to rain, they faced Pakistan on consecutive days (the main game day and the reserve day).
Due to playing an extra day, the side won't have any break before they face Sri Lanka on September 12, followed by their final Super 4 encounter against Bangladesh on September 15.
Following the Asia Cup, India will engage in a preparatory series against Australia for the World Cup. This three-match series is scheduled for September.
Afterwards, the team will focus on the main event, the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, slated to occur from October 8 to November 19. The tournament will take place in India, providing an excellent opportunity for India to end their ICC title drought.
Post World Cup, India will once again cross swords with Australia, this time in a T20I series. The five-match T20I series is set for November.
Wrapping up the year, the Indian team will head to South Africa, where they are scheduled to play two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is during their tour.
