The Indian Cricket Team has failed to bowl out South Africa in the 2nd Test match in Guwahati. On day two, the visitors batted for two sessions and lost just a single wicket. Bowler Marco Jansen slammed a half-century, while Senuran Muthusamy hit a century. In two sessions, India only managed to get one batter out, Kyle Verreynne, who was playing on 45 off 122 balls.

Overall, it looks like the Indian team are having difficulties getting breakthroughs in the match. South Africa's batting has been overpowering. The batters have successfully managed to frustrate the bowlers and leave them with tired bodies.

The hosts have lost control over the game despite taking early wickets on day one. Moreover, only once previously in the last 13 years have two visiting batters gone past 50 from No. 7 or lower in a Test innings against India. The last time it happened was in Chennai in 2016 between Liam Dawson (66*) and Adil Rashid (60).

From the Proteas' perspective, a draw will help them win the series and maintain a good position in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table. However, the match is extremely important for India to maintain their position in the table. After losing the first match, they slipped from the third to the fourth position. While it will be interesting to see how the match will turn out, India's performance is under scrutiny.

The bowlers have failed to take wickets in two days, which is very embarrassing considering the fact that they are playing at home. They still have three more days to go, so fans should keep an eye on how the match will turn out to be.
