Looking to kickstart the year 2023 on a bang, Team India will be hosting neighboring Sri Lanka in three T20Is, followed by three ODIs. Rohit Sharma is injured currently and thus Hardik Pandya will be leading the Men in Blue.

Not just the skipper, many senior players of the Indian side have been rested and will return for the ODI leg.

As for Dasun Shanaka's men, they won the Asia Cup 2022 but saw different results in the T20 World Cup 2022.

Both sides will be expected to put forward their best foot and it should be an entertaining affair at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium.
