Team India has suffered a major setback just hours before the semi-finals against Australia in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023. Due to unexpected illness, captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Pooja Vastrakar will be missing the match against Australia. 

The duo were hospitalised on the eve of the match and are highly unlikely to play in the blockbuster match against the Aussies. 

While there are still clouds over the participation of the India skipper, it has been confirmed that Sneh Rana will replace Pooja Vastrakar the in Semi-Final. If Harmanpreet Kaur won't make it to the field, Smriti Mandhana, India's vice-captain will take charge.
