The Board of Control for Cricket in India has officially announced the complete schedule for Team India's much anticipated tour of Bangladesh. The tour is set to be host in August later this year. The Men in Blue will play six limited over matches comprising three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is).

The tour will begin the ODI series on August 17 at the iconic Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The T20I leg begins on August 26 in Chattogram, with the teams returning to Mirpur for the last two games of the tour, scheduled for August 29 and August 31.

India tour of Bangladesh: Complete schedule

1st ODI: August 17 (Mirpur)

2nd ODI: August 20 (Mirpur)

3rd ODI: August 23 (Chattogram)

1st T20I: August 26 (Chattogram)

2nd T20I: August 29 (Mirpur)

3rd T20I: August 31 (Mirpur)

India eyes sustained white-ball brilliance

India’s white-ball squad enters the tour on the back of a golden run, having clinched the T20 World Cup 2024 and the Champions Trophy earlier this year under the dynamic leadership of Rohit Sharma. The team will be eager to extend its supremacy and fine-tune its squad depth, with an eye on upcoming global events.

This tour comes at a critical juncture in India’s packed calendar. The team will first wrap up a five-match Test series in England post the IPL 2025, which concludes in late June. After the high-intensity red-ball campaign, the Bangladesh tour offers India an opportunity to switch gears and test its mettle in shorter formats ahead of the home season.
