India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2026 Weather Report: Will rain interrupt high-voltage clash?

India will take on Pakistan in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on February 15. The match is going to be high-intensity clash between two teams, especially with the ongoing controversies that have been going around in the past few weeks. 

The fans are anticipating a thrilling clash between the arch-rivals. Both teams started the tournament as favorites and have performed brilliantly. As per local media, the sky has been covered by clouds in the morning of the match day. Colombo is experiencing rainfall with temperatures hovering around 28°C. The likelihood of rain is highest around 5 PM, approximately two hours before the scheduled start of the India vs Pakistan clash.

The precipitation chances peak at 63% at that time but decrease sharply to about 9% by 7 PM and are expected to remain low through the rest of the evening. However, earlier forecasts indicate rain probabilities ranging between 49% and 60% from 10 AM to 6 PM, suggesting that the R Premadasa Stadium could see substantial rainfall. This may leave the outfield damp and potentially affect overall playing conditions.

Will Abhishek Sharma play in IND vs PAK clash?

Ahead of the India vs Pakistan clash, a major question that has been popping around everyone's mind is whether star opener Abhishek Sharma will play in the match. He missed the previous encounter against Namibia as he had a stomach bug and was hospitalised for a few days. In the upcoming clash against Pakistan, Abhishek's inclusion will be quite crucial for India since he is a good form and will be valuable in an important clash. 

Answering the doubts of fans, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav mentioned that Abhishek Sharma is likely to play in the next match. "If he wants to play, then we'll play him tomorrow. Done," said SKY in the press conference.
