With 309 runs so far in the Asia Cup 2025, Abhishek Sharma ranks fifth amongst the most runs scored in a T20I series or tournament by Full Member players.

He stands close behind cricketing giants like Phil Salt, who scored 331 runs in 2023 over five innings; Virat Kohli’s 319 runs in the 2014 T20 World Cup across six innings; Tillakaratne Dilshan’s 317 runs in the 2009 T20 World Cup in seven innings; and Mohammed Rizwan’s 316 runs against England in 2022, also in six innings.

This made him first Indian apart from Virat Kohli to score more than 300 runs in a T20I series.
