IPL 2023 mini-auction: KS Bharat sold for INR 1.20 crore, Shivam Mavi goes for 6 crore both to Gujarat

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini-auction in Kochi saw the uncapped players list next and Anmolpreet Singh was the first name up and he remained unsold at his base price of Rs 20 lakh. Chethan LR, Shubham Khajuria, and Rohan Kunnummal also went unsold from the Uncapped list. Priyam Garg also went unsold.

Shaik Rasheed, who was up next went sold to Chennai Super Kings for a base price of Rs 20 Lakh.

Vivrant Sharma who was up next under the uncapped all-rounder's list for a base price of Rs 20 Lakh, saw his bid go between KKR and SRH going at it. Sunrisers Hyderabad finally bagged him for 2.6 Cr

He is a young opener from J&K who, prior to the auction, drew the attention of IPL franchise scouts.

The other players who were sold were:

Samarth Vyas (Rs. 20 lac) SRH

Sanvir Singh (Rs. 20 lac) SRH

Nishant Sindhu (Rs 60 Lac) CSK

To purchase N Jagadeesan for Rs 90 Lakh, KKR outbid CSK. 

For Rs 1.2 Cr, Gujarat Titans outbid CSK as well and acquired KS Bharat.

Next was Upendera Yadav who was taken by SRH for INR 25 Lakhs while Vaibhav Arora saw KKR take him for INR 60 Lakhs. 

Quite a few go Unsold:

Dinesh Bana is next and he goes UNSOLD. 

Sumit Kumar is next and he goes UNSOLD. 

Abhimanyu Easwaran is next and he goes UNSOLD.

Shashank Singh goes UNSOLD.

KM Asif is next and he goes UNSOLD.

Mujtaba Yousuf is next and he goes UNSOLD.

Lance Morris is next and he goes UNSOLD. 

LSG get Yash Thakur for Rs 45 lakh. 

Next on the list was Shivam Mavi and he started a bidding war. KKR did the bidding till 1crore but later RR and LSG came battling for Mavi.

However, latecommers Gujarat got the bid shot up to Rs 5 Cr and finally got hhim for Rs 6 Crore.

Mukesh Kumar who had a base price of 20 Lakhs saw bids come in from PBKS & DC. But after some back and forth, Delhi Capitals get him for INR 5.5 Crores.

Mukesh Kumar with a base price of 20 Lakhs got big bucks as Delhi Capitals acquired him for Rs 5.5 Crores.

Among the umcapped spin bowlers, Chintal Gandhi, Murugan Ashwin, Shreyas Gopal and Izharulhuq Naveed all went unsold. 

Himanshu Sharma, who was the final name in the uncapped spinner set was taken by RCB for Rs 20 Lakh.
