The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini-auction in Kochi saw the accelerated player Auction set take place and the first name out was Piyush Chawla who was taken by Mumbai Indians (MI) for his base price of Rs 50 lakh.
Soon after, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) went on to purchase Amit Mishra for his base price Rs 50 lakh.
Punjab Kings bought Harpreet Bhatia for Rs 540 lakh while RCB got Manoj Bhandage for Rs 20 lakh.
Next on the list was Mayank Dagar, who had a base price Rs 20 lakh. There was an intense bidding between RR and SRH for him. However, he goes to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1.8 crore.
Next was Duan Jansen got sold to Mumbai Indians for a base price of Rs 20 lakh while Prerak Mankad went to Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 20 lakh.
Donovan Ferreira was taken Rajasthan Royals for his base price Rs 50 lakh while Urvil Patel goes to Gujarat Titans for Rs 20 lakh.
Vishnu Vinod has been taken by Mumbai Indians for base price Rs 20 lakh.
Next was Vidwath Kaverappa who was taken by Punjab Kings for base price Rs 20 lakh while Rajan Kumar goes to Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 70 lakh.
Kolkata Knight Riders get Suyash Sharma for a base price of Rs 20 lakh while some went unsold.
Jamie Overton from England is UNSOLD
Tejas Baroka is UNSOLD
Yuvraj Chudasma is also UNSOLD
Naveen UL Haq from Afghanistan is UNSOLD
Next to go under the hammer was Joshua Little from Ireland. He had a base price of INR 50 Lakh and there began the bidding war. He was, however, sold to Gujarat Titans for INR 4.4 Crore.
Mohit Sharma goes to Gujarat Titans for base price Rs 50 lakh while Swapnil Singh has gone to Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 20 lakh.
KKR get Namibia's David Wiese for his base price of Rs 1 crore while all-rounder Sanjay Yadav who was with Mumbai Indians in 2022 goes unsold.
Wicket-keeper Nitish Kumar Reddy is taken by Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 20 Lakh while RCB has taken the services of fast bowler Avinash Singh who attracted bids from KKR as well. He was sold for 60 Lakh.
Rehan Ahmed from England with a base price of INR 50 Lakh went unsold, so did all-rounder Tom Curran. Pacer Varun Aaron, Priyank Panchal, Sanjay Ramaswamy, and all-rounder B Surya all remained unsold.
Next was Kunal Rathore who attracted a bid from Rajasthan Royals and later went on to take him for 20 Lakh. All-rounder Sonu Yadav was taken by RCB for INR 20 Lakh.
Jitender Pal, Utkarsh Singh, Shubham Kapse, Trilok Nag and Deepesh Nailwal all went unsold.
Next on the list was all-rounder Mohit Rathee and Punjab Kings took him for INR 20 Lakh while another all-rounder Nehal Wadhera was sold to Mumbai Indians for INR 20 Lakh.
Bhagath Varma was sold to CSK for INR 20 Lakh while Shivam Singh attracts a bid from Punjab Kings and is sold to them for INR 20 Lakh.
