GT from 2023 to 2024:

In 2023, the Gujarat Titans were the runners-up as they lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK). They finished at the top of the points table, winning 10 games and losing 4 out of the 14 matches played.

The team, which was led by Hardik Pandya, will now be led by the young gun Shubman Gill, who was last year's Orange Cap holder with 890 runs in 17 matches.

GT's IPL 2024 team composition:

The side saw their skipper, Hardik Pandya, who led them to two Finals and even won the trophy in their inaugural season, leave for the Mumbai Indians (MI).

Their woes did not stop there as last year's Purple Cap winner, Mohammed Shami, is also out of this year's IPL due to injury.

The team would be hoping for Umesh Yadav to step into Shami's shoes while the void left by Pandya may be filled by Sai Kishore, who will be looking to shine alongside Rashid Khan.
