IPL mini-auction 2023: All you need to know and where to watch online on OTT in India

The Indian Premier League (IPL), often regarded as the most illustrious T20 league, has produced a number of elite cricketers over the previous 15 years. Players like Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Harshal Patel got their international debuts thanks to their stellar league performances.

Now in search of their next big talent, all 10 teams will be seen being part of the IPL mini-auction on December 23 (Friday).

Out of 405 players, there are 132 overseas players and 282 uncapped players, and 4 from associate nations. there are 87 slots available while 30 are for overseas players.

The IPL auction of 2023 will have 405 players a total of which 19 of these players have kept themselves in the Rs. 2 crore range. In the Rs. 1.5 crore bracket, there are 11 players while in the bracket for Rs. 1 crore, there are 20 players.

The team with the highest wage cap is Sunrisers Hyderabad, which is set at Rs. 42.25 crores. The team with the lowest pay cap, at 7.05 crores, is Kolkata Knight Riders.

IPL mini-auction 2023 date and time:

The IPL 2023 min-auction is all set to take place on December 23 (Friday), 2022 in Kochi city of Kerala, India. The auction will start at 12.30 PM IST. It might take place till 7 PM in the evening.

IPL mini-auction 2023 rules:

Right to Match (RTM) is not an option in the IPL 2023 auction this time. Each side may select a roster of no more than 25 players. Only a maximum of 8 of these players may be foreigners. At least 75% of each team's overall payroll cap must be used. Beyond the salary cap, there may be no purchases made.
