The round of 16 is being played out at the stadia in Rome on May 14, with the quarter finals scheduled for May 15, semi-finals on May 17 and the final on May 19 in the Men’s Singles. The Women’s Singles final will be on May 18. At the time of publishing, Zhizhen Zhang, Alejandro Tabilo, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Nicolas Jarry had advanced to the round of 8, with defending champion Daniil Medvedev playing Tommy Paul for a spot in the quarter finals.
In the women’s draw, Iga Swiatek became the first to confirm a semi-final spot, while Aryna Sabalenka, Danielle Collins, Victoria Azarenka, Jelena Ostapenko, Coco Gauff, Qinweng Zheng, will play the remaining quarter-final matches on May 15.
