On January 23, 2022, famed Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty are reportedly planning to wed. While the news about their wedding has been doing the rounds for a long time, now rumors have been circulating about the strict policies that guests must adhere to at the couple's nuptials.

According to sources, the couple's Mehndi ceremony took place at Suniel Shetty's opulent Mumbai home on January 22 and the couple will exchange wedding vows at Shetty's Khandala home the following day. A total of 200 guests, including 100 from Athiya's side and 100 from KL Rahul's side, will attend the little gathering.

According to additional rumors, attendees to the event won't be allowed to post any pictures or videos of the wedding online. Additionally, during the ceremony, their cell phones will be seized.

After the intimate wedding, the newlyweds will throw a grand reception for their friends in Mumbai. Although neither family has spoken publicly about the wedding, no official statement has been made.

Earlier, Varinder Chawla, a photographer, snapped photographs of the apartment complex of KL Rahul decorated with colorful lights.

While KL Rahul is not part of the New Zealand series, Athiya Shetty, a Bollywood veteran Sunil and Mana Shetty's daughter, made her debut in the 2015 film Hero, co-starring Sooraj Pancholi.

She later appeared in the comedy flick Mubarakan, and most recently, she co-starred with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film Motichoor Chaknachoor.
