As per the latest football transfer news, Manchester United are the frontrunners now for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. Newcastle United were also after the Slovenian striker, but it looks like the 22-year-old wants United only, even without any European football for the Red Devils in the coming season.

As per multiple reports, Manchester United have already sent their proposal to Leipzig for the striker, and if everything goes well, the striker will be at Old Trafford for a whopping £70million deal. Interestingly, Newcastle also made the same proposal for Sesko, but the striker only wants United.
With Alexander Isak wanting to leave the club desperately, Newcastle United were looking to replace Isak with Sesko. But, as it seems, they are now out of the race, and they now have their eyes on Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.

Earlier, OTTplay had reported that United were after Ollie Watkins as they look to strengthen their attacking squad after the departure of Marcus Rashford. Alejandro Garnacho also wants to leave the club, and Ruben Amorim is now left with Sesko's arrival.
In the meantime, Newcastle United has already faced rejections from Dean Huijsen, Liam Delap, Bryan Mbeumo, Joao Pedro, Hugo Ekitike, Matheus Cunha, and James Trafford. They will be desperate to turn things around with Watkins' deal. However, if they miss the English winger, they will go after Brentford’s Yoane Wissa and Wolves’ Jørgen Strand Larsen.
