Mallorca vs FC Barcelona LIVE: Mallorca recieve two red cards in the first half

In the second match of La Liga 2025/26 between Mallorca and FC Barcelona, the hosts, Mallorca, received two red cards in the first half. Barcelona took a 2-0 lead in the first half, before their opponent went down to nine men.

First red card

Manu Morlanes received the first red card of the match. After the controversial second goal by Ferran Torres, Morlanews got the first warning for using foul language with the referee José Luis Munuera Montero. He then fouled Lamine Yamal in the 33rd minute and got the second yellow of the match, and was sent off.

Second red card

Vedat Muriqi then became the second man to be sent off after using a high boot against Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia. In the 38th minute, he was first given a yellow card for his action. But a VAR check was done, and the yellow card was turned into a direct red card as Mallorca went down to nine men before the first half.

Raphinha scored the first goal

In the seventh minute of the match, Raphinha scored the first goal of the season with Lamine Yamal providing a cross, dropping inside the box. Raphinha headed the ball inside the goal to mark his first of the season.
