Mary Kom’s ex-husband fires back at allegations, levels new claims about past relationships
Mary Kom’s divorce dispute takes a new turn as her ex-husband responds to allegations, making fresh claims and questioning her version of events.

The divorce controversy of 6-time World Champion Mary Kom and her ex-husband Karung Onkholer, also known as Onler has taken a major turn on January 13, 2026. Married for 18 years, Kom and Onler decided to part ways and got divorce months back. However, both of them remained silent regarding the reasons behind the separation.
A few days back, when Mary Kom went to the show, 'Aap ki Adalat', she opened up about the divorce and accused her husband of multiple financial and property scams. Hence, that led to the separation. Onler, who supported Kom throughout her career, didn't stop after the backlashes started flowing in. He shared his side of the story and accused Kom of infidelity.
He mentioned that back in 2013, she had an affair with a junior boxer and in 2017 she had an another affair with someone from her own academy. He shared a video where he spoke about how he has been treated after divorce and is going through financial problems.
"I will talk about what she told Lok Adalat. Firstly, in 2013, she was having an affair with a junior boxer. Our families had a fight, and after that, we compromised. And since 2017, she’s been having a relationship (with someone) working at the Mary Kom Boxing Academy. I have their WhatsApp messages as proof. I have proof, with the name of the person with whom she was having an affair. I remained silent," said Onler.

While Onler also spoke about how he is fine with Mary Kom moving on in her life, he doesn't want the unnecessary drama and backlash that has started on social media. He accused Kom of wanting another relationship and hence, they are divorced. Onler also spoke about having the chats and other proofs and also asked Kom to present proofs from her side.
"She wanted to live alone and have another relationship. We’re divorced. I don’t mind if she wants to have another husband. But don’t blame me. If she wants to accuse me, bring proof—bring the papers. I know where she lives and with whom,” he said.
“She talked about property and asked for my name to be erased. She said I stole INR 5 crore. Check my account. For 18 years of marriage, we were together. And then this? She’s mad. I lived with her for 18 years. What do I have now? Look at my house. I’m staying in a rented place in Delhi. She’s a celebrity, whatever she says, some people will listen, and some won’t,” he said.
