The story so far in the match

At the time of writing this article, East Bengal have dominated the Mariners in the first 30 minutes of the match. East Bengal have been able to test Vishal Kaith once and created a few chances with Noarem Mahesh and Bipin Singh making runs on the flank.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Rakip, the East Bengal defender, has done well for the Red and Gold brigade as he has not allowed stars like Sahal Abdul Samad, Jamie Maclaren, and Liston Colaco.

Liston has been one of the best players of the tournament so far with goals and assists. But Anwar Ali, Rakip, and Kevin Sibbile guarded their defense well.

In the 33rd minute, Diamantakos was able to slide one past Vishal Kaith, but he was flagged offside.
