Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has shocked fans by giving a strange reaction on India's Champions Trophy win in Dubai.

Team India recently defeated New Zealand to clinch its third ICC Champions Trophy title. The Men in Blue were given a competitive target of 252 runs, which they chased down in 49 overs. After India's victory, the celebrations erupted in the entire country as it healed the wounds of the 2017 CT final loss against Pakistan.
The win received reactions from the cricket fraternity with congratulatory messages. However, one of the strangest reactions came from India's former captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, leaving fans shell shocked.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India's former captain who won every ICC trophy during his tenure, refused to comment on the team's recent triumph at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In a video going viral, Dhoni was spotted at an airport when a reporter approached him to get his reaction on India's CT victory. In response, Dhoni signalled the reporter to go away. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the most successful captains in the history of Indian cricket. Under his leadership, Team India won the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup, the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. The player retired from international cricket in 2020; however, he has continued to play IPL and is all set to don the no. 7 yellow jersey for Chennai Super Kings.
On the other hand, the Indian cricket team kicked off their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Stadium. Although the tournament was hosted in Pakistan, Team India denied travelling to the country due to the ongoing political and security tensions. As a result, the Men in Blue played all their matches in Dubai.
Team India's domination was at its peak as the team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and defeated every opposing team, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Australia. In the final clash, Team India dethroned the Kiwis and won by four wickets to win the title.
