The third and final T20I between India and New Zealand saw the host win the toss and opt to bat. While many expected changes to take place in the squad, it was not the player they wanted to see in the playing XI.
Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan booth continue to keep their place while Prithvi Shaw was kept yet again on the bench. It was Umran Malik that made his return in place of Yuzvendra Chaha.
Seeing the way Shaw was kept yet again on the bench got netizens angered especially after the top order failed in both matches.
As for the final decider, in three overs, the Men in Blue scored 25 runs and lost a wicket. The BlackCaps already got the wicket of Ishan Kishan who had to depart for just a run.
Post the T20I series, India will be facing Australia in the 4-Test match series.
