The second and final Test match of the series between New Zealand and South Africa is scheduled to commence on Tuesday. With the Kiwis currently leading the series with a 1-0 advantage, the Proteas will be looking to level the series.

The first Test at the Bay Oval was a lopsided affair, with New Zealand dominating against the inexperienced Proteas side. The host nation saw a magnificent double-century from Rachin Ravindra (240) and a century from Kane Williamson (118), the Kiwis posted a formidable total of 511 runs. In response, South Africa faltered as they only managed 162 runs.

In the second innings, Williamson again scored another century as the BlackCaps declared at 179/4, setting an imposing target of 529 runs for the visiting side. 

South Africa succumbed to the pressure, getting bowled out for 247 runs, handing New Zealand a commanding victory by 281 runs.
