The RCB fans have been taken back to the nostalgia ride of the 2016 IPL finals by the Aussie and former SRH all-rounder, Ben Cutting. The player has posted an Instagram story sharing a fan-made edit of his incredible performance against RCB in the finals of the IPL 2016.

Ben Cutting played a crucial role in winning the maiden IPL trophy. The all-rounder smashed 39 (15) and helped SRH get past the 200-run mark. With the ball, he provided an important breakthrough in the form of Chris Gayle, who was cruising RCB towards a comfortable win. The player also got the in-form KL Rahul out; that diminished RCB's chances of picking up the IPL trophy. Cutting was rewarded with the Man of the Match award for his all-round performance in the finals.

A few weeks ago Ben Cutting's wife, Erin Holland, accused RCB fans of keep spamming the couple on social media as they still remember the 2016 IPL finals. It looks like Ben Cutting's heroics in IPL 2016 still give RCB fans a déjà vu.

RCB's performance in IPL 2025 so far

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru has played exceptional cricket in the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The team has won four matches out of six played. RCB has looked a bit more balanced when compared to its previous seasons. The team is currently led by the newly appointed Rajat Patidar, who himself has been in decent touch.
