Pakistan's captain Salman Ali Agha opened up about the recent incident that happened with Mehidy Hasan Miraz during the Bangladesh vs Pakistan ODI match. He spoke about the 'Spirit of the Game' and how whatever the bowler did was well within the law. The captain also stated that he could have controlled his reactions since it was fair on the bowler's part.

Salman was batting on 64 runs when he was at the non-strikers end. Mohammad Rizwan pushed the ball towards the bowler and as Miraz was trting to collect it, Salman helped him collect the ball from the ground. However, the bowler picked up the ball and hit the stumps as the batter was away from the crease. After the dismissal, Agha was frustrated and threw his helmet and gloves.

"What he has done is in the law. I think if he thinks it's right, it's right, but from my perspective, I would have done it differently. I would have gone for sportsman's spirit. We haven't done this type of thing previously, we would never do that in the future as well," Agha stated.

It was just heat-of-the-moment kind of stuff: Salman Agha

Salman Agha also mentioned that he doesnt remember what he said to the bowler since it was a heat-of-the-moment stuff and he was extremely frustrated at that moment. He kept on mummbling things before going back to the pavilion.

"It was just heat-of-the-moment kind of stuff. If you ask me what I would have done, I would have done things differently. But it was everything, whatever happened after that, it was in the moment," said Agha.

"I can't remember what I was saying, and I can't remember what he was saying. I'm sure I wasn't saying nice things, and I'm sure he wasn't saying nice stuff as well. But it was just the heat of the moment, so we are fine."
