Known for his sharp bowling and leadership qualities, Rashid revealed that when it comes to social media, two Indian players always make him laugh, Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Calling them “so funny,” Rashid explained that both Dhawan and Chahal have a knack for creating content that feels lighthearted and genuine. For Chahal, it’s often about quirky videos, self-deprecating humor, and playful banter with teammates that resonate with followers around the world. Dhawan, on the other hand, has built his own unique space on Instagram, where his skits and family-oriented clips, especially the ones featuring his partner Sophie Shine trying her hand at Hindi, strike a balance between comedy and charm.
Rashid’s comments underline how modern cricketers are not just athletes but also influencers who connect with fans far beyond the cricket ground. “I quite like Yuzi’s [Yuzvendra Chahal] videos, sometimes. They’re so funny. Shikhar Paaji [Dhawan] is always bringing that fun into social media. So yeah, these two,” said Rashid Khan on ESPNCricinfo.
At the same time, Rashid also turned reflective when asked about the greatest player of the last quarter-century. Without hesitation, he named Virat Kohli, praising the Indian superstar for redefining the standards of fitness and mental resilience in world cricket.

"Virat [Kohli] is someone who has totally changed the whole game. Not only scoring so many runs but mentally how strong you should be and fitness-wise, I think Virat is right at the top,” added Rashid Khan.
