What is going on between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Ravindra Jadeja? Is it like the previous year when fans thought the cricketer was leaving the franchise after he deleted all photos of him in a CSK jersey?
Recently, CSK made it to the Final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) in Qualifier 1, Jadeja got the award for the 'most valuable asset of the match' for his all-around contributions.
With the bat, he scored 22 off 16 and then picked up the wickets of Dasun Shanaka and David Miller as well to end up with superb figures of 4 overs 2 for 18.
However, it was his off-field antics that grabbed the attention of many. On Twitter, Jadeja posted a photo of himself receiving the award and he captioned it, "Upstox knows but..some fans don’t."
While the star all-rounder hasn't named anyone or mentioned anything directly, his updates have been anything but simple.
This was not the first time that Jadeja had poked fun at the crowd during IPL 2023. Jadeja made it clear during CSK's home game against Delhi Capitals (DC) earlier this month that he doesn't particularly like the supporters screaming "Dhoni's" name when he is batting in the middle.
Later, he liked another tweet that alluded to the "pain" he must be feeling as a result of the crowd's actions, despite the fact that he was one of his team's major match-winners.
