RCB's star bowler Yash Dayal in trouble after second alleged rape case filed against him in Jaipur. This time, he is accused of sexually harassing a minor girl multiple times for two years. The police has finally lodged a complaint against him regarding rape charges and since the girl was 17 at that time, the police to register the case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

This is the second case against him in a span of almost a month. According to reports, Dayal made fake promises of helping set the girl's cricket career while sexually exploitating her. The FIR was registered at Jaipur's Sanganer Police Station under relevant sections for rape under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). As per the SHO Anil Kumar Jaiman, the complainant is a 19-year-old aspiring cricketer.

“It is alleged that around two years ago, when the complainant was a minor, he raped her on multiple occasions after offering to help build her cricket career. This year, he contacted her again when he was in Jaipur on IPL duty, called her to his hotel and allegedly raped her there," said the SHO.

Earlier this month, the first case of sexual harrasment was registered against Dayal and the FIR was filed at the Indirapuram Police Station in Ghaziabad district under Section 69 (Sexual intercourse by employing deceitful means, etc.) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on July 6. The complaint was earlier registered on June 21 via the chief minister's online grievance portal (IGRS).

The petitioner's counsel argued that a person can be accused of an offence under Section 69 of BNS only if it is established that he makes a promise to marry to a woman without any intention to fulfill it. However, Dayal denied all the claims and asked for a stay order.

Justices Siddhartha Varma and Anil Kumar, who were handling the case at the Allahabad High Court, passed the stay order on the bowler's arrest.

Reports suggest that they were in a relationship for five years and Dayal had promised to marry her. But soon he kept postponing the dates. That led to the woman filing the case against him.
