Kylian Mbappe’s early goal was disallowed after he was flagged offside.

Mallorca then started brightly and took a surprise lead in the 18th minute through striker Vedat Muriqi, who headed home from a corner from Pablo Torre after climbing highest to put the visitors ahead 1-0, the first time Real Madrid had trailed this season.

Moments later, Vinicius Jr. showcased his skill and composure by cleverly playing a dummy and slotting the ball past Mallorca goalkeeper Roman to put Los Blancos ahead 2-1 in the 38th minute.

These two swift goals showcased Madrid’s resilience and attacking prowess.

Mbappe and Guler were denied in the second half

The second half saw Real Madrid dominate possession and create several chances, with Kylian Mbappe continually threatening but unable to extend the lead.

Mbappe was flagged offside after a great finish, while Guler’s brace was disallowed after a rebound from Roman’s save was deflected by him with his hands.

However, minutes after, Mallorca was yards away from equalising, but Carreras made a goalline clearance to block a shot from Samu Costa.

Despite a tense finish where Mallorca pushed for an equalizer, Real’s defense held firm, with captain Valverde and goalkeeper Courtois making crucial interventions. Substitute Brahim Diaz and Rodrygo also came on to help close out the game.

Arda Guler was named Player of the Match for his influence in the crucial equalizer and overall midfield performance, while Vinicius Jr.’s goal was vital in securing the three points.
