Indian cricket team fans showcased their frustration on social media after the BCCI decided not to stream the first tournament of the 2025/26 domestic season, the Duleep Trophy. Duleep Trophy is one of the biggest tournaments of India domestic season, and all of the superstars of Indian cricket takes part in the tournament.

When is the Duleep Trophy 2025?

Duleep Trophy 2025 has started from 28th August and will continue till September 11, 2025. North Zone and East Zone are playing the first quarter-final, while Central Zone is facing Northeast Zone in the second quarter-final of the tournament.

The South Zone and the West Zone will participate in the semi-finals directly.

What happened?

Although Indian cricketers like Mohammed Shami, Mukesh Kumar, Rajat Patidar, Khaleel Ahmed, Yash Dhull, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and others are playing in the quarter-final stage, the BCCI has decided not to stream the tournament.

In the previous seasons, the Duleep Trophy used to be streamed on JioHotstar, and fans used to love to see the stars of the Indian cricket team in action in a domestic game.

However, with BCCI opting not to stream any game, they have disappointed the Indian cricket team fans. Despite being the richest cricket board in the world by a mile, the BCCI could not match the standard of the Australian Cricket Board or the ECB, who promote and stream all of their domestic games.

How did the fans react?
