Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant sustained injuries after his car collided with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.

Pant has been admitted to a hospital where he is reportedly receiving treatment for head and leg injuries. The car Pant was riding in was entirely burned out in the first photos taken at the scene of the accident.

In another photo, the Indian batsman can be seen with a bandage on his head and suffering from serious injuries to his back.

Pant was a member of the team that triumphed in Bangladesh's two-match Test series. After the series, the wicketkeeper-batter traveled to Dubai, where he was spotted with Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

According to Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Ajai Singh, Pant is believed to have returned to India earlier this week and was on his route to his hometown of Roorkee when his car struck a divider at Manglaur while he was going from Delhi.
