'Rishabh Pant hota tho...' Fans miss keeper-batter after Nathan Lyon gets 5 wicket-haul on Day 2 of IND vs AUS

Day 2 of the second Test between Australia and India got off to a good start for the visitors as off-spinner Nathan Lyon quickly got rid of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Cheteshwar Pujara in the early session. Later on, he even sent back Shreyas Iyer and Srikar Bharat, getting his five-wicket haul.

The Australian spinners have made it difficult for the Indian side to reach their 263-run target and fans are missing standout performer Rishabh Pant. The wicketkeeper-batter on numerous occasions has taken on Lyon and hit the bowler for sixes.

As for the clash, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja had put together a partnership of nearly 50 runs for the fifth wicket before the latter was removed for 26 by Todd Murphy. Kohli too was dismissed by Matthew Kuhnemann for 44.  

As this article is written, Axar Patel and R Ashwin are at the crease as India trails by 123 runs.

At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi earlier on Friday, Mohammad Shami returned a four-wicket haul, while Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin each claimed three wickets as India dismissed Australia for 263 runs.
