The PSL 2025 was halted following Operation Sindoor, in which the Indian armed forces demolished Pakistani terror camps on May 7. The tournament came to a pause, especially after an Indian drone struck Pindi stadium in Rawalpindi on May 8.
The PSL 2025 witnessed multiple occasions of getting trolled by the cricket fans. Whether it was James Vince getting a hairdryer as a prize for becoming Player of the Match or Ramiz Raza having a tongue slip, terming PSL 2025 as IPL during the presentation ceremony.
This time around it's a player who trolled another player for an unwanted record during the tournament. England batter Sam Billings, who is playing for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2025, posted a story on Instagram that showed the fastest and the slowest fifty of the tournament. Sam Billings scored the fastest fifty of PSL 2025 in just 19 against Quetta Gladiators.
On the other hand, Babar Azam of Peshawar Zalmi scored the slowest half-century of the tournament, which came in 47 balls. Babar Azam has been lately criticised heavily for his low strike rate during crucial phases of the game. The comparison post shared by Sam Billings had a caption stating, "Two knocks of a very different nature, both of which came in the winning cause."

The PSL 2025 is all set to be resumed from May 17, with four remaining group games taking place at the Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi. Since the majority of the overseas players are unwilling to rejoin the tournament, it would be important to see how teams work out with their playing combinations.
The final of the PSL 2025 will be played on May 25. The fans would be hoping for a smooth conduct of the remaining matches of the tournament.
