The cricket rivalry between India and England have been going on for years, especially in Test matches. Recently, when the Indian team went to play a 5-match Test series against England, the results were 2-2. Under captain Shubman Gill, India went on to draw the series and put up a dominant performance. Gill was the Player of the Series for his incredible performance.

Meanwhile, the Indian team will again travel to England in July 2026 to play a white-ball series. The 5-match T20I and 3-match ODI series will start on July 1 and continue until July 19. For the series, the broadcast rights are with Sony Sports Network and they have dropped an insane promo ahead of the series.

They have focused on both teams, showed their rivalry, and went on to glorify the series. With the ODI World Cup coming up, India will be hoping to have a good round of preparations in the series. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will play in the ODI series but not in the T20Is since they have retired.
