Sudirman Cup Final 2023: Indian squad, teams and all you need to know

The 18th BWF Sudirman Cup Finals will take place in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, in 2023 from May 14 to May 21, 2023. The competition will feature 16 teams at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre.

Sudirman Cup is an international mixed team competition and every tie will consist of five matches - men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. 

India qualified for the Sudirman Cup 2023 courtesy of the bronze medal at last month's Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships.

Participating countries:

Asia: China, South Korea, India, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore

Europe: Denmark, France, England, Germany

Africa: Egypt

Pan America: Canada

Oceania: Australia

Draws:

The draw took place on March 23, 2023, at the Crowne Plaza Shuzou, and the 16 teams were split into the following four groups:

Group A: China, Denmark, Singapore, Egypt

Group B: Indonesia, Thailand, Germany, Canada

Group C: Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, India, Australia

Group D: Japan, South Korea, France, England
