Tanzid Hasan Tamim struck a superb century to guide Bangladesh to a strong total of 290 against Pakistan, anchoring the innings with a composed and attacking knock.

In the third T20I match between Bangladesh and Pakistan, Tanzid Hasan Tamim slammed an incredible ton to help the hosts power to 290 runs in the first innings at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. So far, the series is 1-1 between the two teams. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first against Bangladesh in the series decider.
Bangladesh batters started the game with strong batting performance by openers Saif Hasan and Tamim. They put up a first wicket partnership of 108 runs before Hasan was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi for 36 off 55 balls. The batter slammed three boundaries. Later, Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy scored 41 and 48 runs, respectively.
The batters put up a good show today, helping Bangladesh score 290 runs. Tamim ended up scoring 107 off 107 balls, including six boundaries and seven sixes. He wreaked havoc on the Pakistan bowlers and played some outstanding cricketing shots.

Pakistan's star bowler Haris Rauf picked up three wickets against Bangladesh in the ongoing match. He bowled ten overs and conceded 52 runs, which is quite good in an ODI game. Meanwhile, Abrar Ahmed and Shaheen Afridi claimed one wicket each. However, apart from them, no other bowler picked up any wicket in the match.
This is a series decider game and as we write, Pakistan have lost three wickets while chasing a mammoth total. Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana picked up wickets in the second innings. While Ahmed got two, Rana claimed one wicket, respectively. Pakistan have a long way to go since 290 is a huge total. They will lose the series if they fail to perform from here.
