1. Harshit Rana (India)

Harshit Rana made an immediate impact in white-ball cricket after his debut in 2025. Across his early T20I and ODI appearances, he picked up wickets regularly, especially in the middle overs, and maintained a disciplined economy rate. What stood out was his ability to trouble set batters rather than just picking tail-end wickets.

He also contributed with the bat which became an add-on to his stats. He has taken 20 ODI wickets in 11 games, including a best of 4/39, and showed early promise as a pace bowler for India’s limited-overs setups.

2. Sai Sudharsan (India)

Making a Test debut in England is one of the toughest assignments for any batter. Sai Sudharsan showed solid defensive technique, spent time at the crease, and avoided a debut failure despite challenging conditions. While he did not register a massive score immediately, his balls faced, shot selection, and ability to survive against the new ball and swing were key positives.

Debuted in Test cricket in June 2025 vs England and as a top-order batter, he has accumulated 302 runs in six matches at 27.45 with two half-centuries, a solid start in tough overseas conditions.

3. Kwena Maphaka (South Africa)

Kwena Maphaka impressed on Test debut with his pace, bounce, and attacking lengths. He consistently beat the bat and picked up wickets through pressure rather than luck. His debut performance showed promise through bowling speed, movement off the surface, and control. Even without a five-wicket haul, his impact was visible through spells that shifted momentum.

4. Beau Webster (Australia)

Webster’s Test debut success lay in his all-round contribution. He added valuable runs in the middle order and provided useful overs, giving Australia balance. Statistically, his debut was marked by steady batting contributions and economical bowling, rather than headline figures.

As a batting all-rounder, he has 381 runs in seven matches at 34.63 with four fifties and taken 8 wickets at 23.25, indicating balanced contributions. He is preparing to become an incredible all-rounder if given a consistent chance in Tests.

5. Finlay McCreath (Scotland)

Among Associate nations, McCreath delivered one of the most consistent debut performances in 2025. In both ODIs and T20Is, he contributed meaningful runs and tidy spells, often against stronger opposition. His stats may not match Full Member players, but impact relative to team strength is key here.

In ODIs, he scored 274 runs at 34.25 with two fifties, and in T20Is he managed 53 runs, including a player-of-the-match performance on debut.
