Both Mumbai Indians (MI) and UP Warriorz (UPW) have played five matches thus far, with MI securing three wins, one more than the Warriorz.
Regarding the Warriorz, Vrinda Dinesh was sidelined from the tournament due to a shoulder injury and was replaced by Uma Chetry. The Delhi leg of WPL 2024 got underway with a high-scoring match. Despite the limited sample size for this competition in Delhi, the reputation of the pitches suggests that the winning captain may prefer to chase. The wicket at this venue typically favours batters from the outset, with spinners likely to get help in the middle overs. Any score exceeding 170 would pose a challenge.
