US Open 2024: Coco Gauff begins her title defence of the US Open on August 26, when the main draw of the last Grand Slam major of the year kickstarts.

The fourth and final Grand Slam major tournament of the tennis calendar, the US Open begins on Monday, August 26 with the main draw. Defending champion Coco Gauff is the number 3 seed at the tournament, with French Open champion Iga Swiatek and Australian Open Aryna Sabalenka at the top of the list.
Gauff will take on Varvara Gracheva, whose best at a Grand Slam major, including the US Open has been a third-round outing. Besides Gauff, former champions like Iga Swiatek, Bianca Andreescu, Emma Raducanu and Naomi Osaka are in the fray, as are runners-up like Madison Keys, Victoria Azarenka and Aryna Sabalenka, who will also fancy a shot at the title. Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova will not be playing this edition of the tournament.
