New Zealand’s stunning ODI series win in India will be remembered not only for the result but also for the remarkable individual milestones that unfolded across the contest. While the visitors scripted history with their first-ever bilateral ODI series victory on Indian soil since 1988, the series simultaneously became a landmark chapter in Virat Kohli’s illustrious career.

Across bilateral ODI series deciders, he has now amassed 784 runs in 16 innings at an impressive average of 52.26, with a strike rate close to 100. His highest score of 124 further highlighted his ability to rise in crunch moments.
