South Africa dominated the first two dayes of the 2nd Test against India in Guwahati. They posted 489 runs, thanks to Senuran Muthusamy's century and Marco Jansen's 93 runs. The hosts managed to bowl out the Proteas but it looks like they have fallen behind with their bowling attack. The bowlers failed to take wickets and looked visibly tired throughout day two.

During South Africa's innings, Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav engaged in a fun banter. The captain was not happy with how slow the game was proceeding as Kuldeep had already received two warnings from the umpire. Pant gave a stern warning to the bowler from behind the stumps which got recored in the stump mic.

"Yaar, 30 seconds ka timer hai. Ghar pe khel rahe ho kya? Ek ball daal jaldi. (The timer is on. Are you playing at your home? Just bowl the ball quickly," Pant was heard as saying on the stump mic.

As per ICC's new rule, the match is supposed to end at a particular time and the fielding team has to start the next over within a minute of the previous one ending. If the rule is flouted, then the fielding team will be given two warnings. This is the main reason why Pant fumed with anger and was spotted talking to Kuldeep from behind the stumps.

South Africa bowled out for 489 runs

After batting for two days straight, South Africa are finally bowled out for 489 runs. The score is extremely high and it looks like the Indian team will struggle hard to get past this. Currently the hosts have only one option: to bat for as long as they can and score quickly. Even if they get out close to the given score, South Africa will have to bat again.

The game is going out of India's hands and progressing towards a draw. This isn't a good news for the home team as they are already behind in the WTC points table. A draw would help South Africa win the series and level up in the table. As we write, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal have walked to the crease and are looking cautious at the moment. Fans should watch the match to see what happens by the end of the day.
