India vs Pakistan: H2H stats in T20Is

India and Sri Lanka have met each other 15 times in T20Is. India have always dominated the Pakistani team in the shortest format with 12 wins out of those 15 games. Pakistan triumphed only on three occasions.

India have been in great form in the Asia Cup 2025, winning every match till now. Led by Suryakumar Yadav, the defending champions, though, have not been perfect, but they have managed to outclass their opponents in the tournament.

Abhishek Sharma, who has already scored 309 runs in the tournament, the highest in any edition, will remain a key player for the Men in Blue. However, the left-handed batter, along with Hardik Pandya, faced issues with cramps during the Sri Lanka match and will be looked at before the final.

India’s concern would be Suryakumar Yadav’s form with the bat. The Indian skipper has not fired in the tournament except for his unbeaten innings against Pakistan in the group stage. Moreover, India have lacked firepower in the final overs of the innings as well. Along with that, India have been very poor on the field, dropping the most catches in the tournament so far.

But a solid win against Sri Lanka in the final Super Four match would certainly give them confidence in closing hard-fought matches.

Meantime, Pakistan, who only lost against India in the tournament so far, would like to turn things around on Sunday. Though their batters have not fired enough in the tournament, their bowling unit was able to defend 135 against Bangladesh in the must-win Super Four match against Bangladesh.

In-form Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf would certainly look to cause trouble for India, while Saim Ayub and Abrar Ahmed have been in good form with the ball for them.
