The fourth day of the fifth Test match between India and England was quite eventful. Having to chase 374 runs to win the match, England are just 35 runs behind, with four wickets in hand at the Oval Test. This would be a historic win for the team who wins the game because of how the game has turned out to be. Due to rain, the last few hours of the match was called off and will continue on the last day.

However, during the match on day four, Indian captain Shubman Gill was heard on stump mic asking pacer Akash Deep about taking injection. Well, the bowler suffered an injury when he was hit on the shin by by a shot from Harry Brook. While it wasn't brutal, it did hurt the bowler. Hence, Gill asked him, "Injection liya kya tum? (Have you taken an injection)". It was recorded on the stump mic.

The hosts have shown some classic batting performance on day four, taking the match deep. The credit for this goes to Harry Brook and Joe Root's century that came at the perfect time. In the absence of Ben Stokes, the batters have taken up the responsibility and have played extremely well, both with the bat and the ball.

It is interesting to note that the Indian bowlers got some early breakthroughs in the first innings but have failed to continue the momentum in the second. There was a fielding blunder made by Mohammed Siraj in the 35th over when Harry Brook was batting. It was more like the batter was given a life and then turned the opportunity into his century.

India are struggling hard to win the match and bowl out England under 35 runs. However, the early day end would surely benefit the visitors as they'll get time to rest and come back with more energy on the last day, especially the bowlers.
