India's former captain MS Dhoni has landed in Ahmedabad ahead of the New Zealand vs India clash on March 8. The 3-times ICC trophy winner was at the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) camp before heading to Mumbai to attend the semi-final game. He was present in Mumbai with his wife. Now, he has come to Ahmedabad to watch the final encounter of the tournament.
The players are all in readiness since they have played some terrific knocks in the previous matches. India, who won their semi-final against England by seven runs, have a solid batting line-up. However, except for Jasprit Bumrah, all the other bowlers have gone for runs and hence, the final game will be quite crucial for everyone.
Meanwhile, New Zealand have a balanced team. They have many players who have already played in India during the IPL and know the pitch well. The match is going to be intriuging for everyone to watch since it's the final. Apart from that, two best teams meet and that will make the encounter quite contesting.
As per reports, the Ahmedabad pitch is going to be a mixed soil game. This means that both black and red soil will be used to prepare the pitch. The Narendra Modi Stadium pitch is likely to be a flat wicket, likely to be favorable for the batters just like it was in Mumbai. There will be spin and bounce as well.
This means that the toss is going to play a major role in the match. The captain who wins the toss is likely to bowl first and look to restrict the opponents within a respectable target. New Zealand and India both have solid batters, so the fans are anticipating another high-scoring game. Reports claim that the par score in the pitch is likely to be around 200-210 runs.
