As we reach the final days of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, the fever of the Indian Premier League is coming back to hit the country. Now, especially with the clips of M.S Dhoni returning to Chennai and having a go at the practice nets, the CSK fans were waiting to have a look at their new IPL 2026 jersey. Earlier today, Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad formally unveiled CSK's official jersey for IPL 2026 at the Ashok Leyland headquarters.
As Ruturaj Gaikwad revealed the IPL 2026 jersey of CSK, the iconic yellow remained the sole of the kit as a new edition features the most significant design overall in recent years.
At the front, the jersey has a camouflage print, previously confined to the shoulder straps, which has now been reimagined as bold textured stripes running across the front. However, the most attractive and noticeable area is the five stars, which are positioned proudly above the CSK crest, commemorating their title success in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023.
Ashok Leyland has been revealed as the sponsor of the CSK jersey for IPL 2026, as the logo of the company now features prominently on the front right chest, marking a new chapter in the franchise's long-standing relationship with the Hinduja Group.
The five-time IPL champions have followed up with a viral digital campaign titled "Dencoming: The Jersey Heist", which has been styled as a high-stakes spy thriller.
The video featured Gaikwad leading newcomers like Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma through a fictional operation to recover the missing jerseys. The most viral part of the video was the climax, where the reveal of the legendary No.7 jersey all but confirmed that MS Dhoni, at age 44, will indeed take the field for another season.
The video showcased the first look of new recruits like Sanju Samson and Sarfaraz Khan in the yellow jersey of CSK.
